Although in Albania exists many construction companies, Kika Construction is ranked among the most well known. The particularity of this company is that it achieved the status of being one of the most important operators in the market in just a few working years.

Kika Construction considers being a family operated business to be one of their main advantages. Kika family is known to be one of the wealthiest families in Tirana with a large amount of land, which up to the year 2002 were being operated by local construction companies.
As a result of this experience the family representatives in 2002 decided to raise a new construction company which would be based on two main objectives:

- The use of contemporary European technology

- The application of legal and technical forms of the Albanian state law and also to the European standards.

Kika Construction trained its employees abroad in countries like Austria and Germany to make use of a new technology of concrete pouring of metal moulds and ligneous blocks, as well as the Ardex complete inner workings – a technology still unknown for Italy and Greece.

During the years 2003-2006 Kika Construction handled an average 15,000 meters square of completed construction a year, always being upright to the deadlines, therefore never being penalized about receiving the utilization license and fully bonding its objects. For the time being Kika Construction is being structured and applying for the ISO 9000 European certificate.

Its slogan is the quality and the correctness towards its clients. The relationship is direct, and based on fulfilling every single statement of the contract. The company is not restricted only in the inner working of the apartment complexes but also in creating public green and relaxing environments, which in any case have not been lower than 42% of the whole construction area. This is why the consumer demands have surpassed the construction offers for a while.

This company is well reflected even by its financial-economic indices. Its dynamic is really surprising since from approximately $2.5 million of incomes in 2003 they are grown to approximately $7.5 million in 2005 leading to approximately $1 million of profit and a profitability norm of 11-12%. The constant growth of the company activity increased the number of the employees up to 107 at the end of 2005 and everyone has been employed due to the legal state laws.

Even though the difficulties in the construction sector Kika Construction has some other new projects cooperating with a well known Italian architecture studio. Its strategy and the vision of Kika Construction is for the activity to be diversified dealing not only with the apartments construction but also with other publics works as it is planning on the construction of a cinema.
